Dstny accelerates expansion of position on French market by acquiring French telecoms player Alliantel

Diegem, 18 March 2021 – Dstny, the Belgian provider of secure cloud communications solutions for innovative enterprises, has acquired the French telecoms player Alliantel. This alternative operator was founded in 2009 and uses an exclusively indirect market approach.  In addition to internet connectivity and mobile services, Alliantel primarily offers Unified Communications solutions to its 50 partners and white label operators, so that it can respond effectively to the needs of SMEs and help them with their digital acceleration. Alliantel also offers managed telecommunications services to the white label operators in its network via a comprehensive support programme for implementation, sales administration, invoicing and support.

After previously acquiring OpenIP at the end of 2019, the Destiny Group is hereby consolidating its position on the French market and strengthening its expertise to become a major local provider of secure cloud communications solutions for system integrators and white label operators.  As the French subsidiary of the Destiny Group, OpenIP acquires 100% of the shares in Alliantel and its ambition, together with Alliantel, is to realise turnover of around 35 million euros in 2021.

Alliantel’s 15 employees are being integrated into the OpenIP team.   This will bring the number of employees on the local French team within the Destiny Group to 100, operating from the OpenIP offices in Paris. Stéphane Desombre remains on board within the French Dstny team. This acquisition means that Destiny now becomes a company with 375 staff spread across offices in Belgium, the Netherlands and France, with predicted annual turnover of 120 million euros for 2021.
