Dstny has been making its presence felt for some time. The Belgian company is making acquisitions all the time, and again this summer: Ozmo, Fuzer and Escaux. The vision behind the acquisitions is clear. "Partners should be able to deliver business communications to customers in the way and at the price that suits them," says CEO Daan De Wever.
The transformation of companies to the cloud underlies CEO Daan De Wever's vision. So he wants to be able to offer all direct and indirect services through proprietary platforms and with proprietary tooling. "Macro-economic reports all point to a growth in cloud services. The Netherlands is seen as a very mature market in that respect, but SMEs mainly use hosted telephony. That, of course, is nothing more than a telephone exchange at another location, with the same features and a different pricing model. Companies pay little for a lot but it is not the promised transformation of organizations to the cloud."
